I'm Jenna Beem

At 17, migraines changed my life. As a physicist, I approached Eastern medicine with deep skepticism—but that skepticism turned to amazement when my first acupuncture treatment did what years of conventional treatments couldn't. It didn't just ease my pain; it transformed my understanding of what healing could be.

That transformation sparked a question that would shape my future: How could we bridge the gap between modern science and the sacred teachings of ancient cultures?

This question led me around the world, through countless books and classes, and ultimately to Bastyr University, where I earned my Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Our Story

In 2009, this vision became Health Discovery Acupuncture & Yoga. After serving Seattle's downtown community for nearly a decade, we found our true home in Columbia City in 2018. Here, we've created a special healing space where everyone can access the care they need.
